4 miles off the coast of Ambergris Caye Island in Belize in a marine reserve call Hol Chan. This reserve has 4 zones full of a huge variety of ocean life. I mean it's like swimming through a National Geographic picture. It is amazing regardless of if you are snorkeling or scuba diving. The Caribbean, clear, water has incredible visibility. It is a guided tour starting around $12.50 US dollars and goes up from there depending on how much you want to do. There are sharks, fish, Barracudas, turtles, starfish, lobsters, and my favorite stingrays. You are literally swimming with the wildlife. The guides are amazing and will show you how to be with the wildlife and feed them as well.
Chocolate our guide, my mom, me, my sister Suzi and my dad was taking the picture. |
We were lucky enough to see a sea turtle! He was a grabby turtle. He tried to bite me when I touch his shell. Note to self, wild animals are wild animals. |
One of my favorite places to see for sure.
