I love graveyards and always have. I think they are peaceful and fascinating. They make the perfect place to put on your favorite tunes and loose yourself to randoms thoughts. There is a graveyard in Pocatello, Idaho called Mountain View Cemetery located near Idaho State University College. I was peacefully walking between the headstones on a sunny, fall, day when I spotted several red roses sporadically placed throughout the cemetery. Talk about an amazing photography moment. Enjoy...

Finding Beauty in the World
There I was running through the rain from the book store to my car when I see this on the ground.
Oil on pavement doesn't sound very beautiful but once again it's all how you view the world.

Pumpkins Anyone
Check out this fantastic little pumpkin patch in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Across the street from the zoo on rollandet road there is a kid friendly pumpkin patch where you can choose the perfect jack-o-lantern for Halloween.
There is a surprisingly huge variety of pumpkins to choose from. Who knew pumpkins came in so many different colors, shapes and sizes.
There is a kids size straw maze, wagons to haul your kids and your pumpkins around in.
There is also popcorn and other sweet treats plus a train ride.
I love this kind of seasonal stuff. If you are in Idaho Falls you definitely need to check out this little Halloween treat :)Friday, October 10, 2014

Moment with a Stranger
Have you ever shared a moment with a complete stranger?
I was driving my truck to the grocery store. I turn on my blinker to turn into the parking lot when I see a guy on a motorbike getting ready to turn out of the same parking lot. Out of the corner of my vision I see a blur riding down the side walk. I stomp on the brakes just as a girl on a pedal bikes comes zooming around the sidewalk right in front of where I am about to turn. The girl then proceeds to stop her bike right in front of me and the guy on the motorbike, text something on her phone then gets back on her bike and ride off totally oblivious I had almost smooshed her. I make eye contact with the guy on the motorbike who smiles at me and shakes his head. He then indicates for me to "go away" since by this time I had four other cars stopped behind me. I pull into the parking lot and nod a "thank you" to the guy on the motorbike. He smiles and pulls away. Have you ever shared a moment with a complete stranger?
