Hello from the Florida Beaches!

One of the main reasons I chose to come to Florida was for the ocean and beaches. I absolutely love the ocean. Nothing like spending the afternoon spread out on the sand listening to the waves. Luckily for me, my travel buddy feels the exact same way.
So hello to all from the beaches of Florida!
Dauphnie and I were the only ones in the water because
to the Floridians 77 degrees is cold... ya right.
The waves here are very small and the water is very calm.
The blue color is beautiful which kind of
surprised me because this is the gulf side.
The Texas gulf water was more brown in color.
I wonder why?
I was told by a lady walking by that I have
"the most beautiful Dalmatian"... well at least she got
the beautiful part right.
Accidently took this picture when I  was
putting my phone back in my pocket.
Not a bad shot eh.
The sand on most the beaches here is what they call
sugar sand. It's white, pleasantly soft and very fine.
Once again we had this beach to ourselves again because
of the cold 72 degrees (ya right).
We spent all afternoon here just chillin.
It was good for the soul.
I fell asleep on the beach and woke up 2 hours later
with my faithful pup standing over me watching the
sailboats pass by.
Pink seaweed! I thought this was absolutely awesome.
It was surprisingly soft to walk on as well.

The Bonaventure Cemetery

I love cemeteries and graveyards. I know it's a little weird but there is something beautifully haunting about them.
Little did I know there was an awesome cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. It's the Bonaventure Cemetery and it is quite a famous place.
It has appeared on several of those ghost hunter shows and it is quite the tourist spot. I had to check it out for myself. It was just as awesomely creepy as I had hoped.
It's quite large and took me and the dog several hours to walk through.
There are tours you can do which will tell you about all the creepy ghost stories and famous people who are buried here.
To my surprise I found a whole section of Stoddard people buried here.
Who know.
It's an old and modern cemetery giving it a unique feel. I loved the Spanish Moss covered trees and the headstone and sculptures are beautiful.
Glad I got to stop and see it.
