This is the conversation that went down between me and my mother yesterday.
"So I was running around the river and I saw the most beautiful man," I start out saying.
"Wait," my mother interrupts. "Tall, short hair, not real big but more a lean sculpted build, beautiful bronze and Apollo looking?" my mother asks.
"Yes! So you've seen Apollo as well," I say laughing out loud.
"Who hasn't seen him," she replies.
"Well, I need to thank him next time I see him because I ran the river 2 minutes and 55 seconds faster than normal because I was running behind him the whole way," I say.
"Was he glancing behind him wondering why this red-head was chasing after him?" she laughs.
"Looking like that, I'm sure it's not an unusual event. I clocked his left hand and he wasn't wearing a ring but a lot of guys don't wear rings when they are working out. Makes it difficult for us single women," I reply.
"Next time chase him to his car and see if he gets into a minivan or some two-seater, then you'll know," my mother replies.
I'm laughing out loud again. "Why didn't I think of that," I reply.
"If I see him again... no, when I see him again, a person can't miss that. I'll stalk him to him to his car and text you," my mother replies.
"Sweet, thanks," I say still laughing.
What a fabulous mother I have :)
